- Kurt Vonnegut’s essay called “Wailing Shall Be in All Streets.” You can find it in this collection called Armageddon in Retrospect. Listen to Rip Torn read this essay instead of going to your library to check out the book. Especially if you are of the Boot in Your Ass variety of American, let me know what you think.
