Oddly enough, I might not have been kidding when I wrote that I was the proud owner of a whiskerghini.  It wouldn’t shave off on Monday morning. 

 

My workplace scheduled a photo portrait of my goofy face for an ID badge, creating a photo to be posted in perpetuity on the company intranet.  But my moustache would not yield to the soft light and smooth jazz that awaited me in the photo studio.  Brimming with confidence by inciting envy in men and quivering knees in women, glowing with auburn highlights, curled into just the right lumberjack swagger, my bushy upper lip was stiff when I left my house for work with my moustache intact.  It had stood its ground against the pressures of society and career aspirations (made easier with the adoring support of the woman I love).   Find a nod to the strength of manly whiskers in this comic.  Thanks for the hearty laugh to Phil McAndrew and Brian.
